Clay Pigeon Shooting National Championships

The Buckinghamshire Masonic Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA) ran its 12th National Championships recently, held recently at Wedgnock, and hosted by the Province of Warwickshire.

The national championships is a fantastic example of an organised event which raises money through entry charges. 170 shooters from all over the country took part in the Championships, many of whom were not Freemasons.

The day was overcast with a look of rain and although the Buckinghamshire team managed to stay dry, like most participants, they had difficulties finding the target! The only successful shooter for Bucks was Phil Goddard of Windsor End Lodge No.9361, who came second in the veterans’ competition.

The Province of Buckinghamshire hosted the Tercentenary Celebration Clay Pigeon Charity Shoot at High Wycombe on Tuesday 13th September 2016. For a review of the day, please see the Provincial website >>
